How the city works

PONTOPIA is a living social trading city built around the Pons and Robinhood Chain communities. Instead of a table of tickers, the market is rendered as a skyline: every tradable token is a building, every trader who moves in gets a window, and market activity is something you look at from inside a room rather than scroll past in a list.

The app combines three things that normally live in separate tabs — a market terminal, a social feed, and a live voice/video space — into one continuous place.

The landing view is an interactive isometric city. Each building maps to a token listed on Robinhood Chain. Hotspots on the skyline surface live price, 24h change, liquidity and volume, pulled from periodic market snapshots so the city visibly reacts as the market moves.

Clicking a building takes you into its lobby, where you can read the token's stats, see who lives there, join the building chat, and open the swap terminal.

Your room is your identity. When you claim one you choose a view — bay, canal, desert edge, golden hour or terrace noon — and that choice is saved to your account, so the same skyline greets you on any device you sign in from.

Rooms can be placed on a building as a resident window. Buildings have numbered window slots; verified traders get a badge on their window so anyone walking the lobby can tell who has actually put their wallet behind the token.

Each building has a swap terminal backed by a routing engine that quotes across Uniswap V2- and V3-style pools on Robinhood Chain. Quotes include expected output, price impact and an estimated gas cost before you commit.

Price history is charted from stored snapshots, refreshed on a short interval, so both the skyline hotspots and the terminal show the same underlying data. Watchlists let you keep a shortlist of buildings you care about.

All swaps execute from your own wallet. PONTOPIA never takes custody of funds and never holds your keys.

Sign-in is wallet-based. You connect a wallet and sign a short human-readable message; the server verifies that signature and issues your session. There are no passwords and no email accounts. Signed messages expire quickly so an old signature can't be replayed.

You can also explore as a guest. Guests can walk the city, read chat and browse market data, but claiming a room, taking a window or speaking on the rooftop requires a verified wallet profile.

The City Lounge is the social floor. Open text chat is available to everyone in the city, while verified residents can join live audio and video, or go live by sharing a screen, window or browser tab with audio — useful for walking a room through a chart, a contract or a trade in real time.

The rooftop runs scheduled sessions with a visible countdown and a live participant list, so you know when the floor is busy before you join.

Profiles, rooms, residencies, chat and trade receipts are stored per-account with row-level access rules. Trade receipts and wallet bindings are readable only by their owner. Chat is scoped to the building or lounge it belongs to, and private profile fields are not exposed to other residents.
